Away Days

BACKGROUND

We started working with adidas when they launched their Skateboarding program in 2006. During this time we have provided market insight, strategy and creative services in building their business. Today, adidas Skateboarding is not only one of the biggest shoe brands in the industry but also one of the most respected.

The Away Days film and campaign is the culmination of 10 years of working closely with adidas on their skateboarding program.

GLOBAL REACH
Our goal with Away Days was to tell a true global story of skateboarding. From the endless skate trips across the globe to the world premiere tour and iTunes launch. We teased this story with behind the scenes editorial content paired with marketing intiatives with every major skateboard media partner worldwide. The ten part web series, Far & Away, took our audience deeper into the lives of the skate team as they filmed for Away Days. The culmination of everything being the first full length skateboarding film from adidas.
EXPERIENCE
Skaters around the world were inspired throughout the six month Away Days campaign. Social feeds were lit up from not only the brand and media partners but from the adidas skate team and fans across the globe. Digital, print media, retail and Ecom platforms were seamlessly integrated, highlighting the endless flow of content and keeping Away Days front and foremost in the skateboarding community.
